In this course, students will gain a greater understanding of social topics and responsibilities that will assist them to be effective members in their community, their country, and the world. Students will focus on their interactions and participation outside of the classroom. In particular, students will be expected to develop and share opinions, critically engage with information, and demonstrate an understanding of events and themes around them. The course will integrate all skills, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening through discussions, debates, self-assessment, presentations, and projects.
