In this course, students will gain a greater understanding of Canadian culture to enable them to communicate and participate in social and educational settings. The course integrates all skills—speaking, listening, writing, and reading; however, it will primarily focus on speaking and listening. Students will cover a variety of topics about Canadian culture, including food, entertainment, norms, community, and history. Students will participate in group and pair work, discussions, dialogues, presentations, and role-plays.
