Yes! You’re welcome to attend both orientations and we highly recommend students to attend both. The pre-departure orientation will focus on important things you should know before flying to Canada to start school.
The in-person Orientation Week, held during the first week before classes start, will include activities, opportunities to interact with other students, various workshops to help you prepare for the semester, and we will have representatives attending to help you set up your phone, bank, SIN cards and more!
While it may not be mandatory, we highly recommend attending to ensure you are well-prepared for life in Canada.
Yes, when you register for pre-departure orientation, you will choose the region you are coming from. This ensures that the sessions are scheduled in your local time zone, making it easier for you to attend and fully participate.
You’ll also receive relevant information and support tailored to your region to help you prepare for your arrival and studies at Coquitlam College.
