Mental & Emotional Health

Life as an international student in Canada can challenging in many ways. If you answer yes to any of these questions, it might be time to seek counselling support.

  • Are you having a hard time adjusting to life, work, and college in a new country?
  • Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or hopeless about your responsibilities?
  • Have you lost motivation for your course work? Are you procrastinating, missing deadlines, or are your grades getting worse?
  • Have you experienced a loss, such as the death of a family member, family conflict, or been through a breakup?
  • Are you having problems managing emotions, like stress, anger, or sadness?

You can come to the college and speak to an advisor, who can refer you to the college’s and local community resources, as well as refer you the College’s counsellor, Meghan Belcher.

You can also call the College or email [email protected] to book an appointment with Meghan.
